Room Round-Up :: Bright
One of my favorite things to do is dream about redecorating my entire home... every room, just take a week off and go nuts with painting walls, changing out light fixtures, replacing carpet, adding beautiful art to the walls... everything. But then there's reality - budget, time, motivation (wink wink) and everything else that goes with giant undertakings. Sure, we have small projects that can be done in a weekend, but then I sacrifice time playing with my boys and having fun with my family to, say, paint a bathroom. That means many of those projects, even the little ones, don't get done. And that's okay. I've learned to stop explaining my "dream vision" of the house to guests and letting them enjoy the welcoming space we HAVE created, even if it's not exactly how I want it to be.
HOWEVER. However, I still like to DREAM about beautiful spaces, especially when it comes to decorating nurseries and kids' rooms!! So rather than fret about getting a new coffee table for the family room, I'm going to post about spaces that I find inspiring!
These rooms make me feel so happy. They're bright, cheerful and energetic, with creative touches and amazing use of patterns. They feel like spaces that a kid could disappear to and just have fun.
