Gearing Up for the Pinterest Challenge.
A few bloggers and HGTV designer Emily Henderson issued what they called the Pinterest Challenge last week, and as soon as I read about it, I knew that I was 100% IN. (Pinterest is worth checking out if you ever bookmark pages, save images, print pages or anything that involves "saving" something you saw on the internet. You can see my pins here.) The idea behind the challenge is to make those inspiration images that we've pinned into reality. I keep a board called "Projects to DIY" on Pinterest, so the Pinterest Challenge is right up my alley. I immediately started thinking about which project I would tackle next since I had already taken a few of the projects I've pinned from inspiration to reality.
Like my homemade body scrub...

When I desperately needed to bring some organization to my pantry, I used this inspiration shot to create jars labeled with chalkboard paint.

And when I needed some fun party decorations, I used some inspiration from Martha Stewart to make my own tissue paper pom-poms.

I'm working on a couple of projects from my "Projects to DIY" board for the Challenge now, so come back tomorrow to see how they turned out!
