Little Guy Likes: "Where's Walrus?"
I love a beautiful book with no words. I mean, not for me, of course, but for the little guy. Every day before his nap and every night before bedtime, he gets to choose a few books for me to read to him. Lately, he's been picking one book and wanting to hear the story over and over again. "Where's Walrus?" by Stephen Savage is handsomely illustrated with a bold style and a little bit of a wink. Once my little man caught onto the game, he thoroughly enjoyed finding Walrus on each page. Over and over again. (He thinks he's pretty clever, that one.) The story remains pretty straightforward, but it's always fun to make up little bits here and there to make it more fun each time I have to read it.
