Midwestern Summer Done Right.
My family just spent two weeks maxing out our Midwestern-ness in Wisconsin and Minnesota. I haven't gone through any of our camera photos yet, but here's a pretty good representation of the trip as captured by our iPhones.
There was a lot of swimming, a lot of fishing, a lot of pontooning, cousins, grandparents, uncles, aunts, a trip to the zoo, a day at a Yogi Bear themed water park, some temporary tattoos, a science museum, an art museum, some minor league baseball and some major league baseball. And if you look closely at the first picture, you'll see that this is a real sign advertising (amongst other things) "zombie targets." That's how we roll in Wisconsin.
Every time I look through the photos I get a hankering for some grilled sausage and sweet corn slathered in butter and salt.
